Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect during my first therapy session?

In our first session, we’ll discuss your concerns, history, and goals for therapy. This helps create a plan tailored to your needs in a safe and supportive space.

How long does each therapy session last?

Sessions typically last 5360 minutes, providing enough time to explore your concerns while staying focused and effective.

Do you accept insurance, and what are your fees?

I accept several insurance plans and offer an out-of-pocket rate of $150 per session. If I am out of network, I can provide a superbill for reimbursement—please check with your insurance provider or contact me for details on coverage.

What is your cancellation policy?

A 24-hour notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice) incur an $80 fee, while missed appointments without notice are charged the full session fee of $150.

Is therapy confidential?

Yes, therapy is confidential. Your information will not be shared without your consent, except in rare situations where disclosure is legally required (e.g., harm to self or others)

How do I know if you're the right therapist for me?

A strong therapeutic relationship is key. Our initial sessions will help you determine if my approach feels right for you, and I encourage open communication about your needs.
